Canina^® BIO-COCONUT OIL is a pure natural product from organic farming. The native coconut oil is obtained by cold pressing. As it is a pure natural product,:

• it is not refined
• not bleached,
• not harded
• not deodorized.

Canina^® BIO-COCONUT OIL contains plenty of medium-chain fatty acids, such as lauric acid, caprylic acid and capric acid, which are converted directly into energy and do not form fat deposit and positively affecting the metabolism. It is also recommended as a support for worm prophylaxis and worm infestation.

Many pet owners also apply the coconut oil externally. The lauric acid in coconut oil is said to be able to keep unpleasant vermin away from the animal. The contained medium-chain fatty acids have a nourishing effect on the skin and coat and moisturize. The coat is silky shiny and is easy to groom.

Canina^® BIO-COCONUT OIL can be added to the regular feed, either solid or liquid. The Coconut Oil liquifi es above 20°C / 68°F.

External use:
For a smooth texture, Canina^® BIO-COCONUT OIL is rubbed in the hand and then massaged into the skin and coat. Depending on the size of the animal, a pea-sized to plumsized (large dog) amount of coconut oil is applied several times a week. The coat of the animal should be well wetted.
